I chose to create this because the fragrance of Lilly of the Valley is medicinal for deep calming of the heart and body and creating deep sleep. Read more below:
This is a special item for Summer Solstice made with an old art called Enfleurage developed in france to preserve the fragrance of delicate flowers. Because it is an oil based compound, I used oils to extract only the fragrance and not the water based actives LOTV known for which are toxic in high amounts and medicine in proper doses. I also included our lilacs that also bloomed at the same time and are also calming. I also included some lilacs from the Lilac Festival from Rochester, NY! This very special balm was made with love, patience and care over a 10 day period taking great measures to not allow the oils to get above 95 Farenheit. I only made 20 balms to sell and won’t be able to make this item again until next spring. What a lovely gift from the land here!
Ingredients: Lilly of the valley fragrant oils, white and purple lilac fragrant oils, coconut oil, jojoba oil, mango butter. This item melts at 75F/23C so please REFRIGERATE before opening.
3oz balm with screw top lid
Use: Place a small amount on wrist at bedtime. Body heat activates the fragrance.
