This amazing plant is a volunteer that grew in my yard and I posted pictures on social media as it slowly grew up. I harvested the leaves at the end of summer. I found out about mullein leaf when I had an asthma attack a long time ago and had no inhaler and couldn’t get a doctor on the phone. I went to the local herbal shop and they told me to smoke mullein. It worked immediately. 20 minutes later my sinuses opened wide and my nose dripped.
Since then I use mullein when I get a cold instead of any store bought decongestant. It works much better and much faster with no side effects. I smoke it or make a tea with it. A little goes a LONG way. For a tea you only need a tea spoon. Make sure it is filtered well as it has little hairs that can irritate the throat. This should be enough to last a year of use for illness or clearing or smoke blend rituals.
