My first offering of the ethereal Ghost Pipe tincture for October. This is a once a year item, harvested late summer and available for fall.
They are a plant that doesn’t photosynthesize. Instead they draw nutrients from the mycelium of a fungus that has a relationship with oak trees. So it takes three living things to create this. They aren’t as prolific as they use to be so harvesting has to be responsible. There were over 100 of them here. They are not only ethereal looking but they are ethereal in how they are experienced. While my Appalachian roots teach using it for pain, it is so much more to me. And they are very strong!! The medicines in them turn purple so the tincture is purple. I make my tinctures strong so a little goes a long way. 20ml bottle. Start with half a dropper to see how much you need from there.
